The real question is how much did Rodriguez actually sell to grab the attention of the DEA?

It was said that he sold somewhere around $10 million.

The DEA found this information out because they went fishing through various websites Rodriguez sold the steroids through.

They baited him by buying more than $30,000 worth of products through the site and traced it back to a repackaging facility in Phoenix and logistics center in Miami.

According to New Times:

Rodriguez was affiliated with a website called Wellness Fitness & Nutrition Network. One look at the site and we can see that it is dedicated to the well being of men who have insufficient amounts of testosterone and whatever other hormones they need replacement therapy for.

Wellness, Fitness & Nutrition gave Rodriguez’s name to the DEA sparking their interest in what he was doing.

Not only that, but Border Patrol seized three packages of steroid powder addressed to Rodriguez in May of 2015.
