During the preparation for the 2018 Arnold Classic, Shawn Labega suffered a blood clot in the right calve.

And even if the doctor managed to remove the blood clot, the nerve replacement did not work the way it expected.

There were some calve and ankle complications that led to poor circulation.

Since you can’t have that in a healthy body, you need to take action.

In this case, they have to amputate his leg from the knee down.

It’s unfortunate for Shawn Labega because he wanted to compete in this and he was very committed to the idea of becoming the best at the Arnold special.
