BREAKING NEWS: Junior IFBB World Champ Dies After Attempting Back Flip

A young bodybuilder named Sifiso Lungelo Thabethe from South Africa had suffered a very unfortunate accident at a local bodybuilding event in his home town of Emlazi.

Thabethe was an IFBB Junior World Champion and was competing on Saturday in his local town.

Upon walking into a gymnasium, Thabethe attempted to do a back flip but fell on his head causing a very serious injury.

Sadley this injury resulted in his death.

His body never gained enough momentum to rotate all the way around causing him to land on the back of his head.

After landing on his head his body then rolled over and the man laid motionless on the mat before several people rushed to help.

The video has since gone viral and shows the whole horrific event.

Thabethe only being 23 years old and just starting his career in the sport of bodybuilding makes this an even more tragic event.

According to the DailyMail,  Thabethe broke his neck and later died of his injuries.

It reports that he was tipped for a bright future, having been a former IFBB Junior World Champion in the up to 75kg category.
